A new initiative from Amaze and West Sussex County Council will make leisure activities more welcoming and affordable for children and young people aged 0 – 25 with additional needs and disabilities who live in West Sussex.
The Compass Card West Sussex will provide discounts and special offers to dozens of facilities. Applying for the card is free via an application form which will be used to form the basis of a disability register within West Sussex.
Come and celebrate the launch of the card on Friday 8th April at Lodge Hill, Pulborough, from 10am to 3.30pm. The free, fully accessible fun day for 0-25s with additional needs and disabilities and their families will provide a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities – including archery, arts and crafts, Owls About Town, orienteering, terrain hoppers, alpacas, Polka Photography and chill out space. There will also be free lunch, drinks and refreshments.
It is essential you book for the event – email the Short Breaks Team at West Sussex County Council at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0330 2222 562. If transport is a problem, pick up from Pulborough Station or other support can be provided – please confirm when you book.
