A free event for those caring for a friend or relative is being held at St. Wilfrid’s Hospice, Chichester on Wednesday 10th June. This open afternoon for carers is open to all in the area who find themselves responsible for the care of a loved one.
During the afternoon there will be time to relax in the Hospice’s award winning garden and enjoy a cream tea, as well as an opportunity to take part in a complimentary therapy session, or simply to chat to other carers. There will also be a number of stands providing information about the support available for carers.
The event will run from 1-4pm, and will include a tour of the gardens, a performance by The Wiley Choir and a talk from Kate Keays, from Carers UK, about her own experience as a long term Carers and how to look for the correct support.
