Calling all men and boys – could you be a Superhero for St Wilfrid’s Hospice in Chichester? The Fundraising Team at the Hospice is looking for all budding Superheroes to help them raise much needed funds at a special event on Sunday 5th July.
The Superhero Hike is a brand new event, a sponsored walk around Chichester city centre, open to men and boys only. The Superhero Hike replaces the popular Hike in Hells, (again open only to men) that has taken place in previous years.
Why not get together with your father, son, friends or colleagues, dress up as your favourite Superhero and raise some money for a good cause? The Hospice hopes that all grown-up Superheroes can raise around £100 and smaller Superheroes can raise around £50, all of which will go towards caring for patients. The Hospice relies on public support to raise 88% of its annual running costs, which this year will be just under £6.7 million.
The Fundraising Team is hoping there will be lots of fabulous costumes on show! There will be prizes for the top fundraisers, and drinks and sweet treats for all Superheroes when they finish, so it’s sure to be a super day!
The Superhero Hike takes place on Sunday 5th July at 12.30pm. Entry is £10 for men and £5 for boys. Interested Superheroes can register online at www.superherohike.stwh.co.uk/superhero-hike-home or call the Fundraising Team on 01243 755827, email firstname.lastname@example.org
