Our teams offer support to adults and young adults who are unpaid carers for family or friends. To find and reach carers the charity needs to be hight profile and well recognised as a local provider of personalised support for carer wellbeing.

To further develop our services, we wish to recruit to the following posts. They are initially funded on an interim basis until end March 2017 with the aim to extend to a permanent role with Carers Support. However, this will be subject to budgetary funding review and future contract arrangements.

Emotional Wellbeing Options Lead based in Worthing
Salary £16,541 (£24,482 fte) – 25 hours part time

Emotional Wellbeing Support Worker based in Worthing Hospital
Salary £12,938 (£21,277 fte) – 22.5 hours part time

Carer Wellbeing Support Worker, Hospitals
Salary £21,277 – 37 hours full time based in East Surrey Hospital
Salary £14,376 (21,277 fte) – 25 hours part time based in Worthing Hospital

Carer Wellbeing Support Worker, Specialist Support Team based in Crawley
Salary £14,376 (£21,277 fte) – 25 hours part time

Essential qualities include:

  • Understanding the issues carers face
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and networking skills
  • Confident in using IT
  • Commitment to delivering a high quality service
