Chichester Counselling are seeking an experienced counsellor and leader who will be responsible for managing the day to day operation and smooth running of the counselling operation within our charity. You will have line management responsibility for the clinical team including Counsellors, Assessors and Supervisors to ensure activities meet quality standards.
As a member of our small, part time management team you will have a key part in developing the future strategy of the service, ensuring high standards are maintained and will have the opportunity to liaise with external agencies to develop partnerships and promote the service. The ability to work with some flexibility would be an advantage in order to liaise with other team members and to meet the needs of the role.
In addition to providing a professional and affordable counselling service Chichester Counselling is a well-established provider of counsellor training and you will have the opportunity to contribute to the internal training and development activities to ensure counsellors are ready to practice.
The post holder will report to the Chief Executive and will need to have a relevant professional counselling qualification and accreditation with a professional body such as UKCP, BACP or other well-recognised therapeutic bodies, and be familiar with psychodynamic concepts.
