We are looking for a candidate with experience in high value fundraising, who understands the region (and its potential for fundraising growth), and is comfortable taking a leadership role in a major capital campaign. This could include:
We aim to operate a supportive environment where fellow Trustees and members of staff are encouraged to develop their skills to their fullest extent, and this role will play an important part in achieving that aim. An understanding of the charity and voluntary sector will be an advantage and knowledge of the governance of charities is essential. We are also looking for someone who has understanding of, and empathy with the aims and objectives of Safe in Sussex.
