The role includes chairing trustee/ executive meetings (approx 4 to 6 evening meetings per year) and the Group Annual General Meeting. It will also be essential to work closely with and support the Group Scout Leader and be a full and active member of the executive committee. This is a trustee role and so you must be eligible to be a charity trustee and aged over 18 years.
We would like to hear from people with a business or management background who would like to use their skills to ultimately help young people from all backgrounds achieve their full potential. You'll have experience in chairing meetings and know how to get the best from a team of people. You'll be able to undertake administration from home and have basic computer skills.

Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people, aged 6-25 years old, in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.
