Shop retail assistants

For Tuppenny Barn

We are looking for experienced, friendly and helpful volunteers for our organic produce shop. Working alongside our Shop Manager and other volunteers, duties will include assisting the set up of the organic produce in the morning, greeting and helping our lovely customers, till sales.

Skills

Must be a people person and have a genuine interest in retail and assisting customers. Experience in retail and till sales a must. Able to work under pressure is a necessity.

To grown and sell food to local community using sustainable methods. Tupenny Barn also provides an education service that creates an inspirational environment in which our community can reconnect with the land, reinvigorate local food production and learn skills to promote sustainable living.

Our shop is open on a Thursday and we are open from 9am - 4pm and on a Saturday morning 9am - 12.30 to include our pop up cafe. We're looking for suitable people who we can call on to work as part of a rota system so it isn't necessary to work every week.
