Sussex Against Bullying is a voluntary organisation based in West Sussex, providing support for young people aged between 8-18 who have been affected by bullying.
We are currently looking for a volunteer youth support worker to join a friendly and dedicated team and help us provide high quality projects to support young people affected by bullying.
Role will include:
• Support our project co-ordinator in setting up, organising and delivering a quality holiday club where young people can attend • Working with young people at our holiday club and assisting to run sessions in a safe and secure manner including arts & crafts, cooking/baking sessions, swimming sessions, running and organising trips in a safe manner • Offering confidential support for young people.
Volunteers will be required to have a DBS check and attend an induction training session prior to being allowed to work with children & young people.

Youth support workers will be expected to volunteer for a minimum of 3 hrs a week, this will be done through a rota.
