Why become a member of VAAC and what are the benefits?

Membership of VAAC is open to all voluntary and community organisations that provide services in Arun and/or Chichester. Groups can join regardless of size, financial turnover and area of work.

Our development team offers advice and support on all aspects of running a not-for-profit organisation including: fundraising, volunteer recruitment, HR, policies and procedures, governance and publicity.

There is no charge to become a member and benefits include:

  • Regular information via e-bulletins
  • Funding Focus monthly e-newsletter
  • Opportunities to promote your organisation through our communications
  • Free or subsidised training and networking events
  • 1:1 advice from the development team
  • Advertise your volunteer roles on our website
  • Voting rights at the AGM
  • Ability to nominate a person to the Board
  • Resources including low cost photocopying and equipment to borrow (projectors, display boards etc.)
