VAAC membership benefits - Why become a member and what we offer

Membership of VAAC is open to all voluntary and community organisations that provide services in Arun and/or Chichester, regardless of size, financial turnover and area of work.

Our development team offers advice and support to our members on all aspects of running a not-for-profit organisation including: fundraising, volunteer recruitment, HR, policies and procedures, governance and publicity.

There is no charge to become a member and benefits include:

  • Regular information via e-bulletins
  • Funding Focus monthly e-newsletter
  • Opportunities to promote your organisation through VAAC communications
  • Subsidised access to training and events where charges apply
  • Access to networking opportunities
  • Priority referral for Development Team Support
  • Volunteer Plus – register your organisation and advertise your volunteer roles on our volunteer platform, opportunities to promote through the local press and VAAC communications
  • Voting rights at the AGM
  • Ability to nominate a person to the Board
  • Resources including low cost photocopying and equipment to borrow (projectors, display boards etc.)
