This webinar offers an overview of the role of the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). You’ll gain a clear understanding of when DBS checks are needed, who is eligible and what your organisation’s responsibilities are when it comes to making barring referrals. It’s designed for anyone involved in recruiting staff or volunteers, those with safeguarding responsibilities, or anyone managing individuals in regulated activity, as well as those who may need to make barring referrals to the DBS. The session offers practical guidance you can put into action straight away and includes time for your questions.

You will also leave the session knowing how to use the Charity Commission website for your Trust fundraising research.
