The Publicity Officer is a member of our friendly local team supporting the work of our fantastic reading coaches. This role involves promoting the work of the group and recruitment advertising, using a range of local media and social media.
The Publicity Officer's role will be to highlight the support Read Easy offers to adults with reading difficulties; to engage interest in the community; to attract potential reading coaches and readers.
We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic person with good communication skills to promote the work of Read Easy using a range of local media and social media.
Previous experience of social media, PR or Marketing would be an advantage.
Read Easy is a charity which provides free, confidential, one-to-one reading coaches for adults who would like to improve their reading skills at their own pace and without pressure. Reading sessions are taught by fully trained volunteer reading coaches to work with readers in their own community. Read Easy Chichester & Arun is our local friendly group, based in Chichester, Bognor Regis and Littlehampton.
