About Chichester Boys' Club

Chichester Boys Club is supporting young and disadvantaged people with a safe place in the heart of the community and providing new and exciting opportunities for children aged 8-18 years old.

The Chichester Boys Club was founded more than 100 years ago but the name belies its current role. Today, It’s Not Just For Boys! Through the years our membership requirement was changed to include girls and later still to include all members of the community irrespective of age but with the overriding emphasis on supporting the disadvantaged. In this respect our charges are much lower than commercial rates so as to assist those least able to afford them.

Unusually for an organisation such as ours we own our premises in Little London. This gives us permanence of tenure and enables us to make long term plans to develop our programme of activities.

The Club has always been renowned for its Boxing Club and that has a major current presence on Monday and Wednesday evenings.
The following groups are amongst those that are also active at various times during the week
Parent and Toddler
Home Education
Autism for Young Adults
Various Youth activities for various age groups at various times
Bridge and table tennis
Richmond Fellowsip (self help Charity ) for adults with mental health issues)
Duke of Edinburgh Award base
Social and community activities for refugee groups especially those from Ukraine
