Voluntary Action Arun & Chichester
We are a small friendly team running events and activities for people living with Parkinson's, and we are seeking volunteers to help us both at our social meetings in Chichester and in our general planning of the work in the Branch. Our social meetings are very friendly and relaxed and new people are always made welcome.
Willingness to socialise and give general assistance
To offer support, friendship and information to local people living with Parkinson's, their carers and families, providing opportunities for them to meet together at local venues to ensure no one has to face Parkinson's alone. Monthly social meetings, one in Chichester, one in Bognor
Monthly singing group, "The Trillers" to provide speech and language therapy.
Monthly informal meeting for people with Parkinson's and carers at Marriot Lodge
Fundraising collections 5 times a year plus 2 other events.
