Volunteer Cleaner (Chichester `Restore`)

For Stonepillow

Stonepillow Restore is a large retail warehouse and we have two charity shops - One located on Terminus Road in Chichester and the other in Bognor Regis; selling predominantly furniture, white goods and electrical products, run with the assistance of staff and other volunteers.

We are looking for someone to join our friendly team and help us keep our kitchen, bathrooms and walkways clean and tidy.

Skills

All necessary induction and training will be provided.

About Stonepillow

Stonepillow provide vital support for homeless and vulnerable people in West Sussex.

Founded in 1989, we are a charity that provides a lifeline for homeless people in Chichester, Bognor Regis and Littlehampton. We work with over 130 people every single day, empowering them to rebuild their lives and find independent accommodation they can call home.

We provide a range of services including day centres, hostels, a recovery service, and supported housing. We also have two charity shops which give people the opportunity to learn new skills and access education, training and employment. We are here for people who are sleeping rough or homeless and want to turn their lives around. The support we offer is tailored to the individual’s needs.

We are very flexible and welcome any volunteers who are happy to devote as little as one morning or afternoon, or we can fit your volunteering around your other commitments (i.e. childcare) so you would be able to come to help us i.e. 10-2. We are open 7 days a week and any help is hugely appreciated!
