We are looking for keen gardeners with a passion to work alongside existing volunteers under the direction of staff, to maintain and enhance the gardens and grounds.

Our gardens are extremely important. They welcome visitors and are where families spend time together, relax and make lasting memories. 

Skills

• Competent in basic gardening skills
• Physically able to use small hand tools, dig, prune, weed, plant propagate seeds
• Flexible, adaptable and willing to work on your own or as part of our team
• Willingness to carry out instructions from staff
• Reliable and good time-keeping

About Southern Hospice Group

Southern Hospice Group was formed in 2024 when three local hospices merged - Martlets, St Barnabas House and Chestnut Tree House. Together, we support children, young people and adults who have life-limiting conditions which will significantly shorten their lives. We help those we care for, and their loved ones, to make the most of the precious time they have left together. Our expert palliative services support local communities across Sussex and South East Hampshire – at our hospice sites and in people’s homes.
