One of the Trust's enterprises is working with recycled wood.
We are looking for a number of volunteers to go out with our drivers and help collect wood that is offered to the Trust.
Other roles will also include helping the members of public purchasing wood from our yard at the Country Centre.
The Aldingbourne Trust is dedicated to helping local businesses, communities and people with learning disabilities to reach their potential and enjoy life, together.
We are committed to the support and well-being of people with learning disabilities by developing their skills, helping them gain employment in the local community and encouraging them to lead more fulfilled, independent lives. Many of the people we support also have physical disabilities and our expertise ensures their lives are contented and secure.
With our support and consistent attitude towards diversity, equality and inclusion for all, people with learning disabilities can achieve more control over their lives and futures and make informed changes for the better.
There are a number of sites that provide day and training opportunities. At the Country Centre in Chichester there are opportunities to work in Horticulture, Wood Recycling, Crafts, Catering and Retail. We also have an open farm where you can work with animals. In Aldwick we have a Creative Arts Hub at our drop-in centre, where you can paint, draw and create.
