Walk & Talk Volunteer

For National Childbirth Trust (NCT)

As a Walk & Talk Volunteer, you will lead on setting up a new Walk & Talk or support an existing Walk & Talk group in your local area.

In this role, you will play an essential role in creating a welcoming and inclusive community for all parents.

What’s involved?

Planning and leading a Walk & Talk to support parents in your local community
Advertising the Walk & Talk to ensure parents know this is available
Attracting and welcoming new participants to the Walk & Talk
Following NCT guidance to ensure all events are welcoming, inclusive and safe
Collecting and sharing information about the difference you make to parents
Promoting NCT’s values and vision in the local community.

This is a flexible role that can fit around your commitments and availability. You could volunteer with as little as 2 hours per week, however the time you spend as a Walk & Talk volunteer will depend on when and for how long the activity takes place.
