As a Walk & Talk Volunteer, you will lead on setting up a new Walk & Talk or support an existing
Walk & Talk group in your local area.
In this role, you will play an essential role in creating a
welcoming and inclusive community for all parents.
What’s involved?
- Planning and leading a Walk & Talk to support parents in your local community
- Advertising the Walk & Talk to ensure parents know this is available
- Attracting and welcoming new participants to the Walk & Talk
- Following NCT guidance to ensure all events are welcoming, inclusive and safe
- Collecting and sharing information about the difference you make to parents
- Promoting NCT’s values and vision in the local community.

Written role description
Availability
This is a flexible role that can fit around your commitments and availability. You could volunteer with as little as 2 hours per week, however the time you spend as a Walk & Talk volunteer will depend on when and for how long the activity takes place.
