Are you passionate about bikes and eager to make a difference in your community? Join our team as a Bike Workshop Volunteer!

This role involves supporting the Chichester Bike Project by assisting in our workshop with bike maintenance, repairs, and customer service, all while helping to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with bike maintenance and repairs under the guidance of experienced Bike Workshop Manager.
  • Help to organise and maintain workshop tools, equipment, and workspaces.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the workshop, including restocking supplies and ensuring a tidy environment.
  • Engage with and support other volunteers

Skills

  • A passion for cycling and enthusiasm for bike mechanics (no prior experience necessary, as training is provided).
  • A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members.
  • Reliability and a proactive approach to tasks.
