This role involves supporting The Chichester Bike Project by assisting in our workshop with bike maintenance, repairs, and customer service, all while helping to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with bike maintenance and repairs under the guidance of experienced Bike Workshop Mechanics
Help to organise and maintain workshop tools, equipment, and workspaces.
Contribute to the smooth running of the workshop, including restocking supplies and ensuring a tidy environment.
Engage with and support other volunteers

Skills

A passion for cycling and enthusiasm for bike mechanics (no prior experience necessary, as training is provided).
A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members.
Reliability and a proactive approach to tasks.
