Spreading the word is key to your local community understanding what your Read Easy group does and how people can get the reading support they need or volunteer to help.

You will be creative, determined and passionate about communications, and bringing people together.

You'll be confident using local media, social media, and other resources provided by Read Easy to help get the message out there in to your community about the life-changing journey of learning to read.

You will also be invited to attend our management team meetings which occur every couple of months.

Skills

• Knowledge or previous experience of publicity/marketing
• Knowledge and ability to use social media effectively
• Good communication and people skills
• Confident using IT
• Ability to use your initiative and work independently

About Read Easy Chichester & Arun Group

Read Easy is a charity which provides free, confidential, one-to-one reading coaches for adults who would like to improve their reading skills at their own pace and without pressure. Reading sessions are taught by fully trained volunteer reading coaches to work with readers in their own community. Read Easy Chichester & Arun is our local friendly group, based in Chichester, Bognor Regis and Littlehampton.
