Voluntary Action Arun & Chichester
We are looking for a new Coordinator to support Readers in the Chichester and Bognor Regis area.
As a Read Easy Coordinator, you will be meeting and enrolling adults who want to learn to read.
You will also be involved in interviewing volunteer Reading Coaches with a member of the Management Team.
You will then pair Reading Coaches with new Readers and offer ongoing support throughout their reading journey, visiting their reading sessions occasionally and maintaining support through regular calls with both Reader and Coach to check all is going well.
Read Easy is a charity which provides free, confidential, one-to-one reading coaches for adults who would like to improve their reading skills at their own pace and without pressure. Reading sessions are taught by fully trained volunteer reading coaches to work with readers in their own community. Read Easy Chichester & Arun is our local friendly group, based in Chichester, Bognor Regis and Littlehampton.

It's a flexible role with an average of 2-3 hours commitment per week
