Our Retail Assistants will provide a positive welcome to our visitors by serving them in the Cathedral's shop which helps to raise funds for the running of the Cathedral.
The Retail Assistant will act as an ambassador for the Cathedral as part of the Welcome Team, and the role is varied and will include; operating till to process sales and returns; replenishing stock; and creating displays.
No previous experience is required but we do need Retail Assistants who have a warm and friendly manner; excellent interpersonal skills; the aptitude and willingness to undertake a variety of different tasks; and a basic level of IT literacy with the aptitude to operate a till.
Our Cathedral is over 900 years old and is both ancient and modern, with original medieval features existing alongside famous 20th century artworks. Open every day and all year, the Cathedral is free to enter, with free guided tours and special trails for children.

Cathedral Shop Opening Hours: 10.00am - 4.00pm Monday - Saturday. 3 hour duty:10am - 1pm; or 1pm - 4pm
