Stonepillow has a large retail warehouse and Restore shop on Terminus Road in Chichester; selling predominantly furniture, white goods and electrical products, run with the assistance of clients and other volunteers.
We are looking for a volunteer to join our friendly team at the warehouse to help with collecting donations and delivering purchased items. The role will include going out in the van and assisting the driver with heavy lifting.
This is a great opportunity for a person who is planning on going back to work or looking to new career choice and getting new experiences. All necessary induction and training will be provided.
This role involves heavy lifting.
No previous experience necessary.
Stonepillow provide vital support for homeless and vulnerable people in West Sussex.
Founded in 1989, we are a charity that provides a lifeline for homeless people in Chichester, Bognor Regis and Littlehampton. We work with over 130 people every single day, empowering them to rebuild their lives and find independent accommodation they can call home.
We provide a range of services including day centres, hostels, a recovery service, and supported housing. We also have two charity shops which give people the opportunity to learn new skills and access education, training and employment. We are here for people who are sleeping rough or homeless and want to turn their lives around. The support we offer is tailored to the individual’s needs.

We are very flexible and welcome any volunteers who are happy to devote as little as one morning or afternoon (morning 9.00-13.00 and afternoon 12.30 – 17.00) a week Our vans operate Monday to Friday.
