We are looking for volunteers to raise vital funds for Stonepillow by managing and maintaining collection tins at local businesses and community locations.
This role helps increase public awareness of homelessness issues and supports the charity’s ongoing work to provide safe accommodation and services for vulnerable individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Place collection tins in designated local businesses and community spaces.
- Regularly collect, count, and record donations accurately.
- Maintain collection tins, ensuring they are clean, secure, and branded correctly.
- Promote Stonepillow’s mission and fundraising campaigns to the public in a polite and professional manner.
- Identify and report opportunities for new collection tin placements.
- Report any concerns, damages, or issues to the fundraising team.

About Stonepillow
Stonepillow provide vital support for homeless and vulnerable people in West Sussex.
Founded in 1989, we are a charity that provides a lifeline for homeless people in Chichester, Bognor Regis and Littlehampton. We work with over 130 people every single day, empowering them to rebuild their lives and find independent accommodation they can call home.
We provide a range of services including day centres, hostels, a recovery service, and supported housing. We also have two charity shops which give people the opportunity to learn new skills and access education, training and employment. We are here for people who are sleeping rough or homeless and want to turn their lives around. The support we offer is tailored to the individual’s needs.
