Charity Admin Volunteer

We are looking for an organised and reliable volunteer to support our small team with day-to-day administration. 

Tasks will include:

  • Managing emails in Outlook and sending templated replies
  • Adding people to our booking system and calendar

This role is ideal for someone looking to build office/admin experience, return to work after a break, or contribute their skills to a growing local charity.

By helping with the behind-the-scenes work, you’ll make a direct impact on our ability to reach and support more families across West Sussex!

Skills

We’re looking for someone with: 

  • Confidence using Outlook and email
  • A polite, clear communication style
  • Ability to follow templated replies
  • Organisational skills and common sense
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and reliability
  • Comfortable using a booking system / calendar

About HOPE Charity Project

HOPE Charity Project is a West Sussex–based organisation providing early intervention and emotional wellbeing support for young people and their families.

We run our Family Support Centre in Findon, offering weekly walk-in support sessions, 1-1 wellbeing sessions, creative clubs for young people, and evening support groups for parents and carers. Alongside this, we also deliver outreach into schools and the wider community.

Our approach is early, informal, and rooted in lived experience. We provide a safe, compassionate space where families can be heard, guided, and supported before reaching crisis point.

Each year we aim to support around 150 families across West Sussex, helping parents feel calmer and more confident, young people feel seen and safe, and families reconnect with hope for the future.
