We are looking for Referral Order Panel Members to facilitate a restorative meeting with the young people post-sentencing, accompanied by their parents/carers, to talk about what happened and the impact of their actions on the victim/s or community.

West Sussex Youth Justice Service works with young people aged 10-18. We have volunteers who support as Appropriate Adults when a young person is arrested and taken to Police Custody. We also have volunteers who support as Referral Order panel members when a young person is given a Referral Order in court.

This role can be flexible to suit your availability. You will receive comprehensive training before you start the role and must be available to attend our next training programme which will take place in Horsham on Saturday 15th, Sunday 16th and Saturday 22nd November (must be able to attend all 3 sessions). All travel costs will be reimbursed
