About SAGE Counselling
Sage Counselling provides an affordable counselling service for adults with limited mobility. Limited mobility can be due to age, stroke or disablement and mental health issues such as agoraphobia or severe depression which makes accessing other counselling services difficult or impossible. We also see carers who would need to find alternative care while attending counselling away from home.
A counsellor will visit clients within their own home, hospital, care home or hospice. Sessions can be in person or remotely via telephone or online platform i.e. Zoom.

We meet quarterly for an hour on Saturday mornings. You would also be invited to the Management meeting immediately after the Trustee meeting where you can interact with the other members of staff who run Sage Counselling and get involved with decisions. We also hold interim meetings with the management Committee once a quarter on a weekday evening, to ensure we are all up to date.
You will gain a greater depth of understanding about how Sage Counselling is run and be a part of the growth and changes we make to improve our service for clients, counsellors and staff.
