Creative Workshop Volunteer

For St Wilfrid's Hospice

We are looking for a creative, fun-loving individual who can lead engaging and meaningful creative workshops for our patients in our Living Well Centre.

This is a wonderful opportunity to bring fun, creativity, and a touch of therapeutic movement to those in our care.

The sessions, preferably to be run on a Thursday morning, will focus on fun and functional creativity — helping patients express themselves while also gently supporting movement and balance.

You’ll be supported by a member of our rehabilitation team to ensure sessions are planned appropriately for attendees.

What you’ll do:

Help plan and run creative sessions tailored to patients’ abilities and interests
Encourage gentle movement and engagement through fun activities
Work alongside rehab staff to ensure sessions are safe and supportive

Skills

What we’re looking for:

Someone with a creative flair — whether it’s art, crafts, sewing, or something else!
A warm, friendly personality who can bring fun and energy to the room
An interest in helping others through meaningful activity
No clinical experience needed — just a passion for people and creativity
