Voluntary Action Arun & Chichester
The trustees have strategic control of the charity as a corporate body. We have four meetings a year, usually held in the afternoon on a Wednesday. Trustees are also encouraged to visit and if wish help in the daily operation occasionally. No specialist knowledge is needed, just an interest in helping us run our charity. We are not particularly looking for specialist stills just people with their heart in the right place who would like to help their community.
Interest in serving the community. Basic Computer skills would be a advantage. We do not only transport people to their appointments but we help fight Social isolation in our community.
Community Transport is an organization run by volunteers offering to drive people who find it difficult to access public transport or where public transport is not available, for appointments such as Doctors, Hospitals and Dentists. As well as trips providing social inclusion such as Clubs, Shopping and Visiting.
