We are looking for friendly volunteers to offer free, confidential and non-judgemental support to people with a loved one in prison. We particularly welcome people with experience of prisons and the Criminal Justice System. We offer each client one session per week with their support worker which is up to one hour long. You will begin with one client but will have the option to increase this if you would like to. The time of each session is decided between the client and the support worker to fit with both of your schedules. We offer supervision every six weeks where you will be able to ask for advice from fellow support workers and members of our trust board.
Experience of prisons or the Criminal Justice System is not essential but may be beneficial to you.
We are a small charity who offer free, confidential and non-judgemental telephone support to people with loved ones in prison. We are looking for volunteer telephone support workers, particularly those with experience of prisons and the Criminal Justice System, however this is not essential.
