For St Wilfrid's Hospice

Register your Interest

Are you a qualified massage therapist eager to use your skills to support those in our care?

We offer a wide range of Complementary Therapies to our patients, their families, and carers.

These therapies provide significant benefits, including promoting relaxation, reducing anxiety, and enhancing well-being.

Our Living Well Centre offers the ideal environment for various creative and therapeutic activities.

No matter how much time you can contribute, we would love to hear from you.

Volunteering at St Wilfrid’s Hospice is a chance to positively impact the lives of local people.

Our current team finds it immensely rewarding, and we are always excited to welcome new members.

Skills

All therapists should hold a recognised qualification and will see clients at pre-arranged appointments, normally between Monday to Friday.

Appointments can be also arranged for early evening on the ward - patients find this really beneficial to relax them for a good nights sleep.

About St Wilfrid's Hospice

St Wilfrid’s Hospice is much more than a building. We provide tailored end of life care both in the community and at our Hospice, supporting our patients living with a terminal illness, and their family and friends.

All our vital services are provided free of charge, thanks to the generous support of fundraisers and donors.

St Wilfrid’s employs around 250 people across its clinical, retail, fundraising, and other support service teams. More than 560 people give their time to St Wilfrid’s as volunteers, including on the in-patient unit, in shops, at events, in the café, in the community, and as trustees and committee advisers.
