We are looking for a Fundraising Assistant Volunteer to support our fundraising work within the local community.
This role is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn more about fundraising while supporting carers in the community.
Role Expectations:
This role is initially remote. You will contact a list of local community partners and potential donors to introduce our charity, share what we do, and help raise awareness of our services. Once those connections have been established, there may be opportunities to meet with or present to partners who are interested in donating to us or supporting our services through donations in kind.

Carers Support West Sussex is an independent local charity supporting some of the 70,000 family and friend carers living in West Sussex. With more than 30,000 carers currently registered with us, we are dedicated to offering unpaid Carers information, guidance, and emotional support. Our aim is to deliver a well networked and supportive approach for each carer in the city/town or village in which they live.
We have more than 80 members of staff and over 30 volunteers, as well as a dedicated team of Trustees, we are committed to ensuring carers are recognised and listened to. Carers save the UK economy more than £1 billion pounds to the West Sussex economy and more than £150 billion across England and Wales.

Locations, Timings, and Commitment This is a remote role, with occasional travel within West Sussex when needed. The role is flexible and can be carried out at a pace that suits you. Because of the training involved, we hope volunteers can commit to the role for at least six months, where possible.
